TERKA BAHARAT SIFALI BITKILER ITH. IHR. SAN. VE TIC. LTD. was established in Mersin, Turkey in March 2013. He has vast knowledge and experience in processing techniques of spices, herbs and oilseeds. The company head office, warehouses and factories are located in MERTOC- Mersin Food Wholesalers Complex which is only 1 kilometer to the Mersin Port and 3 kilometers to the city center. Mersin Port is one of the largest sea Ports in Turkey and East Mediterranean Region. It is managed by MIP (joint venture of AKFEN and PSA -Port of Singapore Authority).The company is specialized in the import, manufacturing and distribution of spices, herbs and sesame seeds in Turkey. We source black pepper from Vietnam, desiccated coconut from Sri Lanka, sesame seeds from Nigeria, Ethiopia and India, cloves from Madagascar, citric acid from China, black cumin (nigella) seeds from India and Ethiopia, dry whole ginger from China, split ginger from Nigeria, turmeric fingers from India, galangal roots from China…etc. We own and operate factories equipped with high technology machines for grinding spices, granulating citric acid and hulling/roasting/crushing sesame seeds. Products stored in our warehouses temperature controlled with area 6300 meter square. We test every product manufactured and stored in our warehouses in our in house laboratories whether it fits human consumption and customer requirements. The tests we can carry out in our laboratories include physical analyses, chemical analyses, microbiological, pesticides and ochratoxin. Our quality management system ISO 9001:2008 and food safety system ISO 22000 certified. We supply products to more than 1100 customers located in 81 cities all around Turkey. Our customer profile includes spice wholesalers, spice shops, spice packers to local and national supermarket chains, bakery and patisserie wholesalers, meat and confectionery industry, government and official agencies.
